This new blended learning training program covers the theory and testing portions of rough terrain forklift training using an interactive online presentation. This eLearning program can be accessed at your convenience and can be completed in multiple sessions. Upon successful completion of the theory training and final exam, the learner must schedule a live practical evaluation session to receive a certificate and wallet card.

 

Training Topics
 
Upon completion of this training program, you will be knowledgeable and demonstrate proficiency in:
  • rough terrain forklift basics
  • rules and regulations
  • types, main parts and their functions
  • safety systems
  • pre-use inspection
  • safe operating procedures
  • limitations, hazards and controls
Training requirements are; access to a computer, connection to the internet, and a basic knowledge of computers. This training must be successfully completed to attend the Practical Evaluation Program. 
 
Practical Evaluation
 
This required session is the final component to complete the online Certified Operator courses. This live session provides the learner the opportunity to demonstrate skills learned in a safe environment under the direct observation of our trained evaluators. Operator skills will be evaluated using industry standards. 
 
Online training module is prerequisite to this Practical Evaluation Program. 
 
A minimum of 70% is required to pass the theory test. Students are allowed three attempts to pass the final exam and have six months to complete all three components of the course from the date the online theory is initially launched.
 
This course is applicable to US and Canadian standards and regulations.
